NIGHTRAGE To Play Hometown Gig In August

NIGHTRAGE, the brand new Swedish melodic death "supergroup" led by guitarists Marios Iliopoulos (EXHUMATION) and Gus G. (DREAM EVIL, FIREWIND),will perform live at Göteborg's Kalaset festival in Gothenburg, Sweden on August 11. "We are opening at 18:40 [6:40 p.m. Central European time] for a 30-minute set," says Marios. "We are going to play along with THE HAUNTED, EVERGREY, and HAMMERFALL. The lineup will be me, Gus, Brice [Leclercq on bass], and [former AT THE GATES/THE CROWN singer] Tomas [Lindberg on vocals], with the addition of Nicholas Barker [DIMMU BORGIR/ex-CRADLE OF FILTH] on the drums." NIGHTRAGE's debut album, "Sweet Vengeance", was released in Europe last month through Century Media Records. "Sweet Vengeance" was recorded at Gothenburg's Studio Fredman with producer Fredrik Nordström (IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY, OPETH, HAMMERFALL, DIMMU BORGIR, etc.).
